Finished length (b) is fully adjustable, but is written to be shorter than the actual foot measurement because this vertical stretch is what allows the sock to hug the foot.
Choose the size closest to your foot circumference.

Materials
100g ball Debbie Bliss Toast 4ply (65% wool, 25% polyamide, 10%
cashmere 420m/459yds/100g) in each of:
Col A - 1x 100g ball in Silver (02)
Col B - 1x 100g ball in Pewter (05)
2.5mm (US C) hook
2 removable stitch markers

Most sock/fingering/4ply weight yarns will work well. Choose yarns that will be hard-wearing, high-twist wool with the addition of nylon. Total amounts per pair will vary based on length. Our sample was adult small to fit a size 7 (UK) foot and used around 80g of yarn (about 55g col A and 25g col B)

Construction
Worked from the cuff down the ribbing is worked back and forth in rows, stitches are picked up from the row ends and the ankle is worked in the round, a chain is made leaving space for an after-thought heel, foot is worked in the round and decreased for the toe, heel stitches are picked up and decreased.
