The vintage German military modular Sleeping Bag Parka is practical for so many situations. Its many applications include, but are not limited to:
- watching sporting events (Buffalo Bills in the snow)
- camping
- hunting
- fishing
This interesting sleeping bag can be used simply as a warm sack to slumber in during cool nights, a parka, or both! It features sleeves, a zip front with snap flap, hood, and a rubberized nylon outer shell to ward off moisture. While still inside the bag, you can unzip the lower section and take your feet out. After you stand up, fold the lower section behind you and secure it around your waist with the attached belt.
The 2-piece model allows you to remove the quilted liner for easy cleaning or if you don't require the moisture resistant shell. Both pieces can be used independently and roll into their attached hoods.
There are 2 models to choose from.
- Early model, 1-piece, produced from the 1960's-1970's.
- Later model, 2-piece, produced from the 1970's-1980's.
